Some thoughts on the upcomming new years

I just published some basic thoughts on the new years, mostly actually on everything that the last 10 years have brought us and about the possibilities of the upcoming decade.

And as this will be my last post of the decade, I wish you all, inexistent readers out there, the best of luck and health for the upcoming new years and the new decade.

Shopping frenzy

I can't say that I have embarked in a shopping frenzy. I rarely do, and for that I am very gratefully to myself. Really, shopping for Christmas gifts is a major waste of time and resources. I still can't believe that this whole madness somehow happened to be. And I really wonder how it got to become the monster that it is today. Definitely a lot of marketing is behind this. Otherwise how can we convince ourselves hat it is so important to show your affection through useless money-trow-aways.

Anyways, I've inked some more thoughts on Christmas shopping in Montreal here.

Montreal New Years Guide just published their Montreal New Years party guide. It contains a straight-forward listing of all the big NYE parties that will happen in Montreal, and you can also purchase tickets for the events there. Considering all the successes that Montreal had this year (both the Impact and the Alouettes wont their league's championships), I can only expect a crazy new years eve in the city.

To be followed.
